101 Pool Rummy - A type of online rummy games that includes element of elimination; the game continues until all players are eliminated. A player is eliminated when he his total points cross 101 and the player who survives till the end is declared as the winner
201 Pool Rummy - A type of online rummy games which is similar to 101 Pool Rummy; players are eliminated when they cross 201 points. The player who makes it until without accumulating 201 points wins the game.
Best of Three - A form of online rummy games where three rounds are played and the player with the least number of points at the end of three rounds is declared as the winner.
Buy In - It refers to the cash amount that one pay in order to enter a tournament of cash rummy game.
Closed Deck - It refers to a pack of face down card that remains un-dealt after the cards are distributed to each player.
Deal - It refers to the distribution of cards to every player by the dealer at the start of every hand.
Dealer - The player who deals the card at the start of every hand is called as the dealer.
Deck - It refers to the pack of cards used in rummy games. A regular deck has 52 cards. In online 13 cards rummy, two decks of cards are used along with printed jokers.
Declare - When a player completes the objective of 13 cards rummy online, he/she finishes the game by discarding a card to the finish slot and declaring the hand cards to the opponents.
Discard - During the player's turn, he/she has to draw a card from the Closed or Open deck and then put up a card facing up on the Open Deck. This process of putting up a card on the Open is called as discarding a card.
Draw - During the player's turn, he/she has to pick card from the Closed or Open Deck. This process is called as drawing a card.
Drop - A player has the option to quit or leave the game. They can 'drop' the game during their turn by clicking on the Drop button.
Face Card - All Kings, Queens and Jacks of all suits are called as Face Cards
Hand - The cards that are dealt to a player that he/she has to arrange in sequence and/or set.
Impure Sequence - A group of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit formed with a Joker.
Pure Sequence - A group of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit formed without a Joker.
Set - A group of three or four cards of the same rank but of different suits.
Wild Joker - The card that is declared as the Joker after the dealer distributes all the cards. It can replace any card to form sequences or sets.
